Hiba Faisal & Rene Hellemons
Hiba & Rene started
their dancing careers in Ballroom in England and Netherlands. They
encountered tango and immediately felt captivated by the music and
the dance.
They spent the next
few years learning and exploring various styles and intricacies of
this dance, learning from the finest teachers in Europe and Buenos
Aires.. Hiba in England and Rene in the Nederland where he started
dancing with Chantal Geuze with whom he found
Tango-Fever
Now that Rene moved to London with his Tango-Fever school, they
continue developing their dancing career by exploring together new
moves and techniques. In March 2009 they will be joining Pablo and
Dana in their school in Buenos Aries as special guest teachers for
the month.
Diomar Escovar (Giraldo)
In 1993 he move to London where he
continued studying dance and choreography In 1994 he co-founded
artLat where he became one of the lead-performers of the company. He
has been dancing Argentinean tango since 1990 and travels frequently
to Buenos Aires to further his training with recognised Masters like
Roberto Herrera and Osvaldo Zotto. In 2001 toured around the UK with
the acclaimed shows Subitango and Tiempo de Tango. He is also one of
the organizers of one of the most popular milongas in London
Corrientes Tango
Club. He has appeared dancing in
the films Evita and Dance, a Channel 4-commissioned film, and
collaborated with Deborah Bull’s BBC dance season Travels with my
Tutu. He has also been a guest dancer performing Argentinean Tango
at BBC's Strictly Come Dancing in the 2005, 2006 and 2008 series. In
2007 Giraldo performed in Carmen, directed by Sally Potter.
Diomar "Giraldo" Escobar started his
artistic career in dram at the IPC Drama School in Colombia and then
joined the dance group Danza Experimental de Cali (DECA) for four
years.
